Hello, just wanted to introduce myself and my labs Billy and Megan.
I'm Sue. I have a chocolate lab, Megan who's now 5. We had her from an 8 week pup and boy was she hard work! She's matured into a wonderful girl though and I love her dearly. Billy was an 11 month old unwanted dog when we got him (he's almost 3 now). We were on the waiting list for a companion for Megan from Lab Rescue, been vetted and approved, and then saw Billy advertised in a pet shop window!! Of course I rang to find out more and the rest is history. He has his problems, all stemming from insecurity, and isn't the easiest of dogs, but he's here for ever and we love him. There's nothing behaviourally that can't be managed and I've worked hard to erradicate several fears and phobias he had (vacuum and car amongst others), but sadly I don't think he'll ever be 100% comfortable around other dogs (Megan an exception!).
Will have to get my head around how the site works, posting pics etc...

Hi Sue and welcome to LF, well done for giving Billy his forever home and I look forward to seeing pics of him and megan 
With pics, i`m afraid our Galleries aren`t operation at the moment, they are in the process of being renewed, you can`t use them unless subscribed anyway.
There are free places on the web where you can store pics and link to them from here, I`m not to sure of them all myself but i know our members will tell you where they use for theirs
