Any lab sitters/walkers in Lancashire area

just thinking as well - do you normally meet any dog walkers in the day? That's how I met my dog walker, I always walked with the same crowd.. quite a few of them are retired, and all wanted to offer their services!!! Also, the notice board in our vets has all that kind of information.

oooh and another thing, a friend of mine runs some kennels, and they're beginning to take dogs in daily, while the owners are at work. seems to be quite a market for it, so might be worth enquiring??

but thanks for the link - there is alot of these you can franchise in - maybe worth it if I can do the research in my area - there isn't anything as far as I am aware, but going to put an ad in my local paper.

I don't know if you have looked in your local shops? Our local dog walkers advertise in there and in the vets too.

Might be something worth considering Sarah, thats what the lady did who runs that Home and Away business, she said she did it cos there was nowhere local and her cat sulked when went to cattery Very Happy

Wow its expensive though - just talked to daddy (man with the wallet!) but he just laughed & then made a joke about dog birthday parties Shocked

I'll advertise in local paper, anybody that does do it hopefully will contact me

really think it's worth checking with local kennels too!! must be some local kennels??? it seems to be a popular alternative to a dog walker!!!

The nearest dog kennel to me is about 10 minutes away - so I may ask them, shame there are none in my work area, I could drop him off & pick him up on the way! Umm, investigation under way. Cheers guys Smile
