oh no, utterly terrible and very unfair for you all.

This is such a shock for you that it wont feel at this time that you will feel better. BUT I promise in time you will do. It is still very early days for you all. You had things to look forward to and now it has been wrenched away from you.

I am so very very sorry to learn of your tragic loss.

In time you will be able to think of him with fondness and manage to say his name without crying. It will take time.

Alot of us on here have been through losing a much loved dog and it is really hard, no denying it. BUT you are amongst friends who understand your loss. Allow yourself time to get over it (however long that takes you) allow yourself to cry as much as you need to.

Take care
Heidi

Sad I am so sorry you have lost Otis and at such a young age too. It is unbearably painful when we lose a much loved pet and it takes time to be able to cope with the loss and yearning, but it does get less painful as time goes on. Many of us on here have experienced it, and can empathise with you. Thinking of you.

Sweet dreams Otis.
