I agree with the teddy Arley had a large teddy from Oxfam he still has it and goes to bed with it every night he has never chewed it and still has the bow around its neck! I think it was like one of his litter mates, I d pay Oxfam a visit and get several teddies.

I think you have had some very good advice on here about having something warm and cosy for the pup to snuggle up to, and a ticking clock for comfort too. He is a real baby at 6 weeks and in you shoes, as well as the above, I would keep bringing him upstairs to bed so that he has company and if you want to crate train him keep him in his crate but just talk to him gently.

Be kind and consistent and Rolo will get used to it in time Smile .

(Amber is 6 months and very used to her crate but when we go away, which we do quite often, she does not like it when I put her in her crate at night. I usually dim the lights and just sit in a chair by the side of her and talk to her and because I am there she will drop off and then I can creep up to bed!)

Just remembering, I used to have Cavaliers, and one of them used to carry his teddy around with him, from going on walks for a couple of hours, to going to the vets he wouldnt let go, he loved his teddy, it was a battle to get it from him at the shows to take him in the ring LOL, he became known as the dog with the teddy or the banana. Even though he had 2 other Cavaliers and a collie to cuddle up with at night he still had teddy.
