I've just read all these lovely comments as I missed them in all the Luna and health issues that followed! Thanks everyone!

The good thing about Tucker is he loves doing anything and everything you show him is fun! Very Happy He'll love the gundog training as much as agility Laura! I threw a toy for him to run and fetch this afternoon and it almost resulted in a bumtuck! He LUUUURVES attention and praise so heelwork and sit stays that result in a big fuss every now and again are as exciting as running through a tunnel! He does have the attention span of a toddler though and when it all gets too much he either sits and looks pretty or finds a good bit of grass to sniff and dedicate his life too! Very short and simple steps are winning through though!

I am so lucky to have found him Pam - he was just the right dog to join our 'gang'!

Luna had been training him Lizzie - pre-rest time. He copies her whenever she is excited so she'd been helping him get the grasp of 'go over' and 'tunnel' by enthusiastically doing what I ask with him close behind! It became a bit of a competition to see who could do the task and get the reward first!

Going to have to have a serious chat with specialist about Luna's hip and what he recommends for her future agility fun... I foresee her doing veteran micro height (9inch jumps) courses which have no weaves or see-saw and lower a'frame and dog walk and are set to be flowing, non-twisty courses... not for competition until she is 7 but what Mr Oliver recommends we will abide by! And if I have to invent a new form of agility which involves simply running through jump wings with no pole and around weaves and contact equipment then we will! Or we'll have a go at Rally-O! EMDAC said they'd be happy to have a Rally-O competition ring set up at their shows if I was willing to run it!

Tucker will be taking things steadily and safely, competing only Medium height BAA. I think it is a testament to the BAA organisation that a dog with a hip like Luna's has been able to compete as she has without lameness or discomfort showing! Still can't believe I had no idea that she had a hip issue!
