Barbara I know its awful but one of my first thoughts was.. thank god he wasn't with me, I know its horrible but it so could have been. He's disappeared off before with me, once for 30mins and my heart was in my mouth all the time. One consolation is that his owner was with him, so she could see him and not just get that dreaded call.

I can't really believe it, looking back at my OP I apologise if I sounded harsh about recall, I didn't mean it come across as mean, I just didn't phrase it properly. Sorry.

Thank you everyone for your lovely words when you didn't even know him, it's really kind.
