nah he'll get it much sooner than that! I'm convinced it was the weather yesterday because Sam was being a total pillock at the beginning of our class last night too and I did wonder what the heck his game was but by halfway he remembered and just switched back on to normal mode! Honestly sometimes I think they just want to see how embarassed we can get. Only joking! It sounds to me like he's already doing a lot of things well and I'd far rather have a friendly dog who just needs to learn some self-control than one that was a misery or reactive - have faith and keep practising he'll be the star of the class before you know it. Very Happy

I do believe that Labs have a sense of humour and they really do know when to use it, and they also love it when they are being laughed at cos it means people are watching them Laughing

It does sounds as though Max get over excited beofre class starts, I used to go early with CJ and walk him around for a while usually with one or two others and that would help to get his excitement out of the way and make him more receptive in class.

Thanks I think he will get there he just loves other dogs he is so much better behaved outside with no lead on I think it is better he is sociable than a miserable or dog aggressive dog its so funny he even shares his treats he never cares about me giving out his treats.

Mary we were there first last night and he welcomed every dog in walked around with a couple Max also peed on the floor twice Embarassed sowhen I got the mop the trainer held him he acted like the perfect dog Rolling Eyes Laughing

My son who has autism also went he had to leave after 5 mins as he distracted all the dogs and ran around when the lady was talking but hey it never bothered Max lol
