Thanks everyone for your good luck messages, I know there isn't a quick fix but I do love my boy so am willing to put the hard work in.
Thanks Sarah

Just been reading the whole thread, glad to hear your getting some help with Jenson!
I am so glad George has stopped barking at us. He started when he learned what my alarm noise meant, but then he started jumping up at our faces and snapping followed by his big dog woofs which was a bit scary even when its a 14 week old pup. We had no idea how it started but we started putting him in another room (we have a rather compact house so you can't really walk away) and that seems to be doing the trick.
It got really bad at one point that when I was on my own (husband was at work - he does shifts) and we had a very bad tugging walk, ending up with me feeling very frustrated and inadequate so I decided to try a bit of basic training to cheer myself up, and he jumped up and I suppose bit or at least clipped me with his teeth on my face and started barking at me and I just started crying and that only made him worse. I was so upset, mostly at myself for allowing him to do that and for my reaction which was to scream my head of at him (i have to add at this point I am a very softly spoken person who never raises my voice let alone shouts or screams). I was so shocked that at that moment I regretted getting him and I had to remove myself from the room so I could calm down and get myself back together. I left alone him for 10 minutes. Then pretended it had never happened, and he was fine.
After talking to my husband we both came up with a way to ensure we both reacted consistently to his jumping up and snapping, and he has gone back to being a little sweetie. Turns out we we rewarding him with attention when he jumped up at us.
I really hope you managed to help Jenson, it sounds like he is in good hands with you.
Lots of hugs and good vibes
