Hi mine had a frame that attached to the crate with a small stainless steel bowl you could remove (to fill or wash) I may be wrong but I thought a dog should always have access to water, esp if they were fed dry food, you dont have to fill the bowl!! Arley used to stand outside the crate and put his head in to drink he was so funny. If you can t find anything suitable I will look tonight and post you details.

I believe Pets at Home sell what you are looking for, as would any other decent pet supplies shop.

If I had Charlie's puppy years again then the clip-on bowl would be what I would get.

Some people do remove the water at night, but personally I like to leave them some. I don't leave masses overnight, just a couple of inches in the bottom of the bowl. But I am like that. I like to have a cup of water beside me at bedtime myself, so it is my habit.

The only time I don't leave water out for them is if the vet has advised against it in preparation for general anaesthetic (thankfully rare for mine so far).

Lisa, the amount of injections the pup will need differs on the brands that are being used. Usually it's two, and then sometimes a third for parvo.

Welcome to the best forum in the world. There is loads of advice and friends to be made

I had a crate for my girl when she canme home at 9 weeks. Best money ever spent. I tried de crating her but she was having none oif it. She is two this week and still loves her crate, although I very rearly close the door now. She just loves to sleep in it.

Its her 'Room' her 'Space'. In other words ....... leave me alone, i'm sleeping.
