I am busily preparing for the start of the new school year at the moment but am happy to help out anyone struggling to upload pics etc. Even if it means you emailing them to me as an attachment! Just send a PM!
It's all for very worthy causes and more entries means more money as well as more chances for winning!!!
I've written out how I got my photos uploaded in the right place here in case it is of any help to anyone!
1) Click here : http://www.labradorforums.co.uk/modules.php?name=Photo_Gallery&g2_itemId=347782
2) Click on the album with the title of the category you want the photo in eg: Handsome Dog (don't miss that the classes are spread over 2 pages!)
3) Then on the bar at the top of the Gallery screen there choose 'Add photo'.
4) Don't be concerned by the tabs along the top - they confuddled me until I ignored them! Select 'from web browser' if that isn't showing by default.
Then click on the 'Choose File' icon and you should get a window that allows you to choose the images from your computer photos - I do anyway!!
5) Choose the one you want, click 'Open', fill in the Caption section with a title should you wish . You can upload more than one photo to that category using the second 'Choose file' icon should you wish to and then click 'Add items' and wait.
6) You should get a confirmation page saying you have successfully added your pic/s so then click on the name of the album eg Handsome Dog, on the left hand side of the top gallery bar to check your photo is there ok.
7) then click 'Online Dog show' from the same place to choose a new category to add photos to.
Now if you want to enter photos from those albums already uploaded above here are your instructions:
1) Choose the photo you want to enter
2) Under the thumbnail (small version) of the photo is a drop down menu.
Click ' Add photo to Favourites'.
3) Then choose 'Favourites' from next to 'Your Album' in the top Gallery menu bar
4) Then under the thumbnail click 'Move photo' from the dropdown menu
5)This will give you a new screen with lots of little pictures and tick boxes at the top - DON'T TOUCH THIS BIT!
6) Scroll down until you see a list of albums in small writing!
7) Find 'Online Dog Show 2011' and click on the little cross. This will give you the list of competition classes.
Click on the class you want to enter the photo in - it will turn white
9) Then scroll down and click on Move.
10) You will get a screen saying successfully moved and then you can click back on 'Your album' to choose your next pic.

One question at the moment do I have to resize my pic before I move it from my computer?

Good question!
I didn't! SO I THINK the gallery is doing the resize automatically....
I can always edit to make sure ALL the photos in the Album are resized correctly I THINK!!!! The Gallery Admin powers are still being tested!!

Brill, my pics are usually too big to post but they uploaded fine. I just had a "doh" moment and added one twice after cropping it - can you edit to remove one before you finish? I'm adding loads, so I'm not being tight, promise

Unfortunately you won't be able to delete any pics you upload by accident as the album is owned by Admin!
Which one do you need deleting? If you click on the photo needing deleting then copy and paste the bumf in the address bar above I'll make sure I delete the correct one for you!
