TBH if you've not long been using Royal Canin Sensitivity Control and it appears to have settled the problem, then I would actually be inclined to stick with it for at least another two-three months before trying another feed.
Once things appear to have "come right" with a digestive problem, it is tempting to try something abit cheaper but you can easily send things the wrong way again and then it can be hard to get things right again. After advice from my vet, Murphy, my four and a half year old Lab finally seems to have settled on Burns Pork and Potato, he hasn't had a bout of colitis since he's been on it and its been nearly three months now but I keep telling myself not to be complacent and carefully watch what treats he has, he has no wet dog food at all as that sets him off. I was told with him to keep him on a low fat/protein diet as the vet thought he couldn't tolerate too much fat/protein. Burns P+P produces poo similar to BARF - small and slightly crumbly...You could always look at the Burns Pork if you are going to change as it has worked very well for Murph. I even think he may have begun to gain a tiny bit of weight which is good as he's a very lean dog courtesy of his stomach...
