Jessie has been swapped onto Royal Canin sensitivity control as she was have bad diarrhea on the james wellbeloved and also on natures menu.
she is absolutely perfectly fine on the royal canin sensitivity control with out a trace of diarrhea BUT it costs so much money (£12 for 1.5kg or £80 for a bigger sack) and you can only get it from the vets !
just wondered if anyone could recommend me a different (cheaper) food for sensitive tummies ?
also has anyone tried the royal canin labrador retriever junior ?
I've just switched mine to Simpsons Premium Grain Free after seeing Simpsons generally being heralded on here. I opted for Grain Free as I suffer from Coeliac - a change of diet for me led to my eczema disappearing - apart from on my hands where of course, I am daily and frequently handling their food.
I did have a minor irritating issue with my first delivery (we picked our first bags up at a show) - but I have to say, I can visibly see the quality of the blacks and chocolates coats changing - and as for poo !! - well - the amount has diminished overnight - I am still quite stunned at the difference.
I am presently using the Salmon and Potato version - I get it on the Breeder Scheme - but even their mainstream prices are not too bad particularly when compared to other grain free products.
I use RC junior it Keeps there coats great no bad tums and solid poop really good only thing is Max is a fussy eater so thought maybe a change but he has ate it better today and yesterday so really want to stick with it I got this link http://www.petshopbowl.co.uk/ they are quite cheap they do RC sensible for sensitive tums for around forty pounds definatly the cheapest site I have found it was in the dog food section in LF

Simpsons look good but i could only order on the internet as no stockists anywhere near me
I have to order over the internet - I ordered on the Monday night (Bank Holiday) and the delivery was scheduled for Wednesday - so effectively next day - there was delay from the Couriers side as they held some parcels back - I got a text and email on the Thursday morning telling me it would arrive between 1018 and 1118 - it arrived at 1025
I am assured their delivery schedules are normally very reliable - and most definitely will be giving them another chance because of the quality of the food - but I particularly liked the notification of a one hour delivery window - made life much easier - and not something I am familiar with any of the other couriers doing.
