Two reasons really, hes not going as well in a walked up situation as I'd like at the moment and i'd like to get out training and sort that ASAP rather than show it to the world on Sat And we have two possibly three trials next week with luck and a fair wind, and brain wise they are priority (remember i'm blonde I can only concentrate on one big thing at a time...grin). Sue also desperately needed someone who could be dog steward, as you know its a bit complicated with a huge field, and I'm that girl! Al is running though with Mr Fish.
Its a fantastic field, a real 'end of season corker!! Can't wait (now i'm not running...ha ha!).

As a newcomer to the 'Field Trials and Gundog Work' realm it can be quite daunting. How do you enter tests if you aren't sure what they involve. Training classes at a club would be a good way in - not an option for various reasons at this point in time.
So asked a simple question on a forum - and got such a positive result.
You are an absolute star. To do all you did hassle wise to arrange things for me this weekend - for an absolute stranger - was amazing.
From one forum post .......to being made welcome and 'helping' in an Open and then a NDNH/Veteran test - thanks.
I had a great time. Well - yesterday was hot and today was .... a bit wet! But I learned so much, met some really friendly and knowledgable people.
Pleasure it was easy, and great to meet you. Looking forward to seeing your pup out in time... same age as Otter give or take, don't get TOO good now See you soon!
