I hope the scales confirm what you're seeing (and that it's not that she's just grown a thicker coat ).

Oh bugger!

Her stomach has been much better the last 2-3 weeks too......will look into it if we have any further issue though Smile

We had an Annie sister staying here this summer and she was so skinny compared to Annie and her other two sisters here at the same time.

The owner of the pup had put her onto burns adult at 8 months old, because a friend had told her she was hypa. Now I didnt think she was and the owner of the pup wanted me to observe the energy levels of all pups, having hers ol adult food and the rest all on a puppy/junior food. Well all energy levels were the same, they are working bred pups, and are very goey. Now this pup was painfully skinny, and I wasnt happy with it, so I asked owner if I could swap back to the puppy/junior food, she agreed and within a week this pup looked soo much better. When pup came her tummy wasnt good, it was fine most of the time here, but when she went home tummy was not good again, So vet tested poo sample and she had ecoli. Panic panic but when re tested it was just a friendly one.
What I am trying to say is could her skinnyness be an underlying problem in her tummy, should you test her poo's just in case. This was certainly the case for my pup that I bred, she is now gaining weight really well.

The vet checked her over but not her poo, he said he thinkg she is just that type of dog, she literally can not sit still. If i ask for a sit stay, her tail wags so much she moves about! She is full of muscle and in great condition and since she has been on the chudleys her poo's have firmed up and in the last 2-3 weeks we have had normal poo. She is a nervous type of dog, nervous axious, nervous excited, adrenalin nerves, you name it. I have not come across a dog like her! Very Happy but since settling here and having a food change her stomach is so much better, so I don't think it's a stomach issue. She just burns more than she consumes.

Yes understood, Maisie did too, never stopped at all, even at 9 months old, same as your girl full of muscle etc. Well its always something to think about if it happens again, hopefully it wont and she will gain weight now.
