ok finally think i have resolved this for now, its mainly down to the size of the photo gallery (it stores info about photos in the database)

There are now >56,000 images in our photo gallery, many of which are now invalid, photos from members who no longer visit LF , outdated photos

But how do we wade through it all and remove the ones that are cramping the system up whilst not removing valid ones ????
