Hi, I notice your boy is only a couple of months old so whatever fruit/veg you give (even on the "safe"list), give it in moderation...my 6 month old GSP pup recently had to go to the vets with on/off diarrhoea which she suspected was from eating too many blackberries and that in turn had upset his gut flora. He's had a week of probiotic paste and is ok now but the vet told me to be careful how much fruit/veg/grass etc that he eats.
My two older dogs can indulge to no ill effect but she said pups digestion is more sensitive.
Apple pips are only dangerous if they are split which then releases a very small amount of cyanide but a hug amount would have to be eaten to cause any ill effects. Dogs would swallow a pip whole so not a problem.
That's my understanding too. Max has eaten apples from the tree in our garden for 11 years now
