Bleurghh!!!! I've moved even further towards the dark side. Bought a serious load of tripe today. Hate the slobbery slimy stinking stuff. Gives me the boak!

Soooo.... could I feed it frozen do you think? Does it really NEED to be de-frosted into all its slimy smelliness??

just chuck some boiling water on it before you serve... well thats always what I've done. I can't have that crap lying around waiting to defrost, the smell would literally make me move out!!!!! Shocked

My mum used to cook the tripe for our dog when I was at home. Do you know I can't remember it smelling .............

Do the dogs smell rancid after they've eaten it too? Does it make them fart and do their poos get mega whiffy?

I'm really not convinced I'm ready for tripe yet. This khaki malarky has a LOT to answer for!

When I use it Mo I just run hot water on it out of the tap to defrost it.

We feed tripe frozen sometimes. The dogs are quite happy to eat tripesicles. Smile

It definetly makes mine more farty. And generally they are not farty. I will use it if need be, but not unless I have to! Laughing

I can't even open a tin of the butchers stuff with tripe without boaking!

It's the green tripe I have childhood memories of and that literally did give me the big fat hairy boak..... and is part of the reason why I hate dogs licking my face.

To think some people did/do eat tipe. Yuckety yuck.
