John Lewis is lifetime cover.

Are you sure? Because when I tried to get a quote from them, everything was for an annual policy.

The last faq is can I rely on this cover year after year? And they say yes.

I do remember they didn't make it clear and I spent a long time looking when I was sorting Digs out as not having lifetime cover was not an option for me. I think there is also a thread on here where someone rang John Lewis to clarify with them.

Ooh that's really good then. I got a good quote from them recently, but looking at the policy it seemed to be annual. For some reason I didn't see that FAQ. I'll probably go with them then!

The site isn't very clear, I think I spent a good hour or more debating it through with mother til I found that bit but I really wasn't keen on petplans premium and they were my other option. Obviously I would have paid more if it was my only option but I'm all for cutting costs Smile

The price they quote you is probably per year/month and it is renewable on a yearly basis whether the policy covers conditions for a year or for life. You need to be really sure before you start the policy what you are actually covered for because once you have spoken to your vet about a (potential) problem it becomes excluded from any new policies.

I would say that stands for anything, though. If you purchase something like insurance without reading the policy and finding out all the information, they you're frankly a bit daft, because it's likely to come back and bite you on the bum.

Not sure what you mean by being quoted per year/month because every quote works that way, irrespective of what type of cover it is. If you're referring to the John Lewis though, the link above helpfully answers the question about continuing conditions. Smile
