We have our home check tomorow evening at 6.30pm for the choc lab that we are hoping to adopt. Im so nervous...I hope that it goes well and i will be gutted if they say no Im worried the house is too small, the garden not good enough (is completly secure with 6ft fencing but im not garden proud at all )
Ahhhh i want it over with one way or another so we know what we are doing...if it gies well then hopefully we will be collecting our new girl this weekend...if it doesnt go well then i might just cry!

Relax! I do home checks and I'm only ever interested in whether or not the people can provide a loving, secure home and know the basics (at least) of caring for a dog.
I would never comment on how a garden looks unless it would impact on a dogs welfare, so what if your lawn isn't perfect, neither is mine!
Well done for offering a dog a chance of a happy life, I'm sure it will all be fine
I am sure it will be fine... I can remember how nervous I was when we had our homecheck done.
As they were brought a dog with them - we only moved out of the kitchen into the garden and I had cleaned the house like a mad woman.
