I'm afraid I can't remember all the results - must be an age thing and certainly not related to the amount of alcohol consumed so please come on here and post your amazing achievements!
It was a FANTASTIC day, the 1st one we've attended and Jeremy and I and the girls had a brilliant time. Helen and Becs and all involved did a sterling job in the organisation and it went so smoothly, the judges were great and everyone that took part in the running of it deserves a huge thanks and round of applause!
We loved it and a massive thanks from me on a personal note for those that helped celebrate my birthday, I really wouldn't have wanted it to be any different, to be sat chatting with great friends til late in the night, with the dogs ALL running around the huge fields playing and getting on so well was just a joy. And the surprise birthday cake and candles were lovely, sorry I spoilt it by nipping off for a pee in the bushes just as you lit the candles....!!!
Brogie was shattered and did try a couple of times to take herself off to bed in the truck for a nap but the lure of things going on overtook her, she tried so hard in the training and I'm thrilled to say we made the awards and got 3rd place in our group!!! Yay!!! Happy took it all in her stride, tried to do a bit of gundoggery stuff for her dad but got bored with it as normal! She was much happier running around talking to everyone and apologies to Jo for the appearance of Happy during her obedience test with Tau, she was only coming to see her Auntie Di!
So a BIG thank you once again to everyone, it was great to meet new people and put faces to names..... roll on next year!!!!!
Things from this year that will take some beating...
Al racing around on the quad being chased at top speed by Chippie the JR.
Gary being swung round on Al's shoulders and spun around til they both fell over!
Gary rolling the quad several times to shouts of 'He's gone over again' followed 'No, its ok, he's up!'
I seem to remember trying to give Andy (Funkymonkey) a piggy back at one point which when you see he is about 3ft taller than me seems a little unlikely.... it didn't work!
Seeing Fish 'the trial dog' running around like a puppy chasing after the frisbee having the best day of his life!
everything what trina said!
Thanks to everyone who made it happen and to everyone who made it a fab weekend. The boys inc my OH, enjoyed it.
Finn came fourth in our group despite his lack of sparkle !
coal loved it esp as there was a pond and lots of dogs to play with. He did get in a little bit of trouble in the scurry during a disagreement with a fence. He's fine now and sends his love to bernie who didn't come out of it so well!
Highlights inc
auction of the raffle prizes... One member of the crowd didn't quite get the concept of bidding! Lol
watching poor poor chippy running up and down rolling hills after a quad... Seen in the distance as a little white blur.
drinking the night away
and yes trina the piggy back with Andy didn't go quite so well as he went over your head and ended in a handstand!
Shall def be coming back next year
think we raised a fair amount of money for lab rescue so happy days

Sounds like you all had a great time, can't wait to see the pics. Hopefully one year we'll be able to make it along, the diary always seems too busy! Next year maybe!
THANK YOU enormously, all of you, for coming and supporting this event
Thank you to our four wonderful Trainers; Di, Al, Isobel and Nick; those that helped Becs and I out enormously on the day; Jan & Ruby, inparticular Ruby who helped reduce everyone's calorie intake by eating many of the biscuits , Bernie who went beyond the call of duty to rescue a dog and ending up lame herself - how is the ankle?; Margaret for all the dog sitting; then our dummy throwers who covered quite a few miles running back and forth (thinking of Katieb here in particular!). Then there's the land owner Gary (and his missus) who thankfully never says no to us running this event on his land and does an awful lot of shifting hay bales and equipment for us. And lastly thanks to Skinners for the prizes and Trace at Benedict Farm Boarding Kennels for the generous £100 donation, which buys all the rosettes, cards and some grub.
I have no idea of the amount raised yet but am getting together with Becs tomorrow morning for a count up and will let you know ASAP. I suspect it's quite a few hundred for lab rescue, which is just brilliant and totally down to all your huge generosity

Chuffed to bits with Digger dog and his 4th place, tis definately onwards and upwards with him.
Also pleased with Theo, he is an infuriating dog at times as we know he can do it he just seems to choose not to. Perserverence is the key with him and we're perservering!
Thanks to Helen and Becs for organising an excellent day again, to all the trainers for their input in the day and to everyone else who helped out. Already looking forward to next year!
Thanks everyone for a great weekend, thanks Helen and Becs, huge thanks to the judges and to my groups trainer Al he was so kind and patient with us, big thanks to my group you were a lot of fun, thanks to Gary for allowing us the use of his land and to Helen's hubby for the wonderful BBQ.
Thanks to my camp mates Andy, Kath and Bramble; Laura, Luna and Tucker; Vanessa and Jet; Dene, Lauren, Theo and Digger (the loudest snoring dog in the world) we were lucky enough to be given our own camping field apart from another tent who were very gracious about various Labs wandering in and out of their tent
And most special thanks to Hector for being my star it was great to see him being pushed to try new things and succeeding but more importantly seeing our weaknesses and what we really need to work on
Huge well done to Heidi (Margaret's Granddaughter) for winning the bale scurry with Hector, I've never seen a dog OR child run faster in my life there was actually gasps from the audience
Funniest thing for me was Al trying to guide Andy 'gundog style' to the tree for a wee and shouting "your a chocolate aren't you?" when he didn't follow command
I hope it all happens again next year, but after the Olympics please

Thanks everyone for a great day. Determined to persevere with Theo - we'll get him spot on one day . Thanks also to all our camping mates for their company. Looking forward to next year already.
