Hi There Everyone
We now have Jac, Laura & Sam on board as our very own photo albums here at Lab Forums, who have very kindly volunteered to help our members out with their photo albums. It really is a massive job, and i would like to thank them for volunteering.
The photo galleries were changed a little while back, and when they were changed, all the permissions reset to my name (being admin) which means before taking on Sam, Laura & Jac it was only me that could change the permissions on the albums. As it stands, if you don't 'own' your album you can't change/add/edit your albums unless they are in your name.
This is where the photo admins come in to the rescue.
If you would like your album changed so that you can take control of it yourself once again, please reply to this thread and include the page link in your reply, and one of the photo admins will change the permissions to your username.
I'm going to be spending some time tidying up too, and also deleting empty albums.
What i would ask if that once the permissions have been changed to your name, please make sure your album is named the appropriate name, i.e. the name of your lab/s, as at the moment there are a lot of 'untitled' albums which makes the galleries look messy.

P.S Please remember there are 1000's and 1000's of photos so might be quite a task.
Mary - I just went in to sort yours out and you already have permission for your album so I don't know if someone beat me to it!!
A question - I can move the old album into the section called 'Your album' on the bar at the top and to the right of the 'Gallery' page.
Would people like me to do this so you don't have to trawl through the huuuuge albums anymore???

I still have 2 albums but I can add to the old one now. Have you been able to transfer the photos in the new album into the old (now new) album?

I THINK - if you click on the menu bar under each album/photo you should be able to Move the photos around however you want now you have the permissions Wendy. All I did was Move you old 'Charlie' album into the 'Your album' called xWendyx. I don't think you can change the album name from your username... but you can change the name of, delete, create and move around the albums/pics in your folder as you want now you have permission.
