I got in defence of dogs for Xmas. I put it on my list after it was recommended on this thread. It's brill so far. It's non fiction, but very interesting his views on why dogs behave the way they do. The author is in now way a fan of a certain Mexican dog whisperer!

In Defence of Dogs: there's a lot to read but it's readable. worth the effort and can be dipped in and out of.

I'd recommend it to anyone.

I can never bring myself to read them as I have read one and ended up going through nearly a box of tissues but a really good book i have heard of is by Michael Morpurgo called Born to run it's a hear warming book so you may need tissues. Another one by him is called shadow. they are for older children but an easy to read book is sometimes nice especially if you have a house full of dogs to entertain!! Smile
