The nerve of some people. My OH is in trouble. I pop out for 4 hours to do some much needed work, and what does she do? Get someone in to look at the staying boy. "Reject". Yes that's his name. No-one wanted him so we kept him and have called him Reject.
Anyway, this chap turns up. just as I get back. OH felt sorry for him as he had lost his lab 3 weeks ago. So I disappear into my hole to make a phone call, when I come out he's gone. without the boy. So I enquiry why not? Well this chap works 8 hours a day, has 3 cats and lives by himself. There NO WAY my OH is going to put one of her puppies in a house like that. So I say well done. It then turns out she wants to keep him after all...
been together 20 years and no I still haven't sussed her out. She originally wanted to keep a girl, but as Kiwi bonded with me from birth, she decided to keep a boy. Then decided she didn't then decided she did. Sometimes you women make my head spin....
As to the name, he was going to be called Jet, but think as lots have said he's lovely and rejected him. Think he's going to have a complex anyway. you want to try living with brothers called Spud and Alfie, and a sister called Kiwi...
You can't call him reject bless!
but someone at our training class has a lab cross called 'Dopey'.
Poor thing.
You aren't supposed to understand women anyway so I wouldn't try lolx
And I think we have the best dog puppy of the litter. Had four of them at the vets this morning, he was the only one of the lot wagging his tail, tying to lick the vets face. Vet thinks he's going to make a wonderful dog. Oh, and he is going to be called Jet.
