I started to have a few issues with Skinners too I think they have been changing the contents. I started to look around at other foods but then decided to give Skinners Field & Trial Working 23 a try and I have to admit I'm very pleased with it and will continue until, no doubt, they will decide to change the contents of that too.

Like Natasha with 9 dogs Orijen isn't an option but if I had one or two I would definitely give it a try.

Jill, Natasha - I believe this year (2012) ACANA are introducing an entry-level product that is going to be very competitively priced (cheaper than Arden Grange, JWB etc), and will also be doing larger 'breeders sacks' (18kg), so keep an eye open for that perhaps at Crufts?

Thanks for the heads up Laura. I will definitely check it out at Crufts (that's if I can find some very kind person to keep an eye on 2 dogs for me Smile ).

Just as a little aside - Skinners messed up big time this time round with my puppy packs saying they had not received my form etc. etc. which I always send off immediately the pups are born so I would have no puppy packs for this litter.

I told them that as I had promised all my puppy buyers a bag of food I would have to go out and buy them, and that I would be telling all my puppy buyers to gradually change there pups over to Orijen food.

Surprise, surprise the Skinners packs arrived the next day by special delivery Laughing Laughing Laughing .

I'm reading this thread with interest as hogan seems distinctly uninterested in the latest bag of skinners duck and rice. I went into our store to look at others and the choice was very overwhelming and some of the prices- ouch! I left feeling more confused than before. I will check out Orijen as Ive never heard of it before.

Jill- I'm sure I can help dogsit to allow you a toilet and shopping break! Maybe spice can whisper me some tips on how I get her son to behave as beautifully as she does.

Vicky either give the Skinners Field & Trial Crunchy a try or give him Skinners Field & Trial Working 23. Folly is on that although it took her a while to get interested after the Skinners puppy. I don't think you will be wanting to pay for Orijen at the moment Wink .

I will take you up on that offer, although it will be two of them Spice and Darcy. Look forward to seeing you there Very Happy .
