Well, as the title says really - there are sooooo many stickies now, I just wondered if they are ever 'cleared out' only in some sections some stickies don't seem so relevant and one has to scroll down LOADS to get to the posts.....or is it just me?

Your not a grump Rolling Eyes , but they do save someone from repeatedly having to write the same thing over and over, on puppy and health questions, plus alot of other stuff.

I must say I have occasionally gone over some really old ones, and found some pretty useful info.

I think that an audit is rather overdue, myself.

Personally, I think that if people are bombarded with too much information or text then they will switch off and not bother to read.

I think the wealth of advice and information available at LF is super; but I have to agree its a tad "buzy" to navigate. I do understand that the stickies - like Di's humping explained thread for example - are invaluable in some areas. Perhaps if the entire index was a bit smaller?

Helen I agree too.

As for specific posts there are various so hard to say....there are 2 about crate training - could they not be made 1? There are various about adopting dogs which would be better as a couple with the facts maybe? There is a random one in PC about an MRI someone had.....just bits like that. When I look on my phone inparticular it is hard going scrolling through 10+ stickies in some sections just to get to posts. I just wondered if a sort out might be good. There are no doubt many things which are not in stickies which may be handy, but where do you draw the line? Yes a sticky on poisonous things to dogs and bloat - which most have not heard from are handy, but I suppose if you go too far you end up with ED, HD, epilepsy, heatstroke, obesity, thyroid conditions, allergies, heart problems ...

Or why not have a section 'invaluable advise' where what would have been. Sticky went in to and it was at the top of the board?
Also while I am being grumpy - introductions might be netter at the top, the groups have moved around a bit haven't they?
Sorry ill shut up now....I'm being bossy Embarassed

Stickys are just below the Lab Forum index, if you click on 'help' you will find loads.

They contain useful info.
