We where at our first grade 3 show this weekend and its was hot hot hot but didn't bother Bella was me melting in the heat lol
We started of Saturday with a nice stead clear in 1-3 graded agility placed 12th, then had another graded 1-3 agility where Bella was way too speedy so we had jump jump tunnel except we where not supposed to be in the tunnel so where e'd We then had our first 3-5 jumping class I felt rather out of place as all I could see where collies lol But she did me proud it was a real working twisty turny jumping course and she went clear coming 9th. We then had a graded 1-4 jumping where I just called her too early so we knocked a pole and finished off the day with a fun class gundog power and speed we where clear but I lost us time as almost went the wrong way lol A fab start to grade 3 I thought.
Yesterday was just so hot I always struggle to concentrate on the courses and having to pack all the camping stuff away. First run of the day was graded 3-5 agility it had a tunnel under the a-frame which we did a couple of weeks ago and I lost her onto the a-frame so was really trying to get her in the tunnel so much so that we got a refusal on the next jump as I wasn't there to push her out lol Then we had 3 courses to walk straight after each other so plenty to take in. Firstly we ran the graded 1-3 jumping getting 5f for a pole down. The we had to wait a good few hours to run the graded 1-4 jumping again knocking the start pole lol So last run of the day was graded 1-4 agility defiantly our sort of course she flew round and worked really well and we where clear. So we wait around and hour or so for the results as I hope she might be placed. To my total shock she'd won the class so is now a grade 4 labbiedor.
Thank you, it was cheers, tears then driving home yesterday I still can't believe it never in a million years did I think we'd win out, I thought we'd be happily staying there until she retired shows you how much I know
