Lovely photos!! I can't wait to get this darn plaster off and start training again. It's hard watching my Boo work with my daughter and daughter-in-law, even though they are doing well and he is enjoying himself. I'm very grateful but I miss training him myself Sad

Hi
lovely photos. I can't wait to take Buddie to agility, but think he needs to learn to behave a bit more yet. How old do they have to be?

You can do quite a lot to prep for agility before putting dogs through the high-impact stuff. Like getting them used to going between two jump wings aka plant pots or fence posts or trees.... with you not, you can get them walking along a plank or low wall happily, you can practise sits, stays and recalls, get a tunnel for them to go through,.... lots! There are puppy agility classes around.

Tucker at approx 13months old will do low impact stuff for a few months eg, tunnels, very low jumps, a very low dog walk, maybe a low aframe, maybe just practise where to enter weaves - without doing them, he'll begin to practise the way I direct around a course-commands and body language,

Dogs can compete at most places from the age of 18months but I won't be rushing to get Tucker to competition for that age, we'll go steady!
