I think that is the case too, wouldn't want to be breaking the rules Laughing

When they are combined classes 1-3, I suppose I could run him in those Confused

Yes you'd be eligible for any of the grade 3 classes be it graded or combined.

We have our first grade 3 show this week I am a mixture of excited and scared, we have two graded 3-5 classes *gulp*

Oooo yes, come and watch.

We are dipping our toes in with BAA and hoping that the fully netted rings will help prevent Bamber getting distracted by all the other dogs, exciting smells, etc!

Will complete an 8 week beginners course with Woody on Thursday.
The thing that was stopping me going further, was not knowing anything about competitions and grades and such. This has been a great help. Thanks.

Good luck if your about to compete.

The thing I found when I first started competing is that everyone is so very very friendly and helpful if you tell them its your first time people explain everything, we've all been there at one time or another and its really amazing how quickly you get chatting to like minded people Very Happy Just don't expect too much of yourself and your dog the first few shows as its a lot for you both to take in, we spent a lot of time being E'd the first 6 months due to silly things. But with a bit of patience and practise I no longer panic walking 3 or 4 courses at the same time (we had one weekend when all our runs 4 when walked and ran within a 30 min period and we didn't get E'd once lol) Bella queues calmly (when we first started she wanted to eat anything and everything that came too close as she was so excited) and majority of her runs are done without her barking like a nutter. I still feel sick on the first run of every day and get very nervous in any of the qualifiers, but most important of all enjoy it as thats what its all about and thats how you get the best from your partnership Very Happy

Good luck to everyone competing this weekend and going to watch I hope the bug bites you as I just love to see fab labbiedors on the agility scene Very Happy
