I know this is old news now, and to be honest I also know the changes have taken place but noone is really quite sure how to improve things... BUT..... can anyone tell me...
My photo album now has 14 pages. When I add pictures to it to post into threads they do not just neatly go to the end of the album they get split up and scattered, seemingly randomly through the 14 pages... making it an absolute nightmare trying to find anything to post. So there might be 2 on page 3, 1 on page 10, 2 on page 12 etc etc you have to trawl every page.
OK at 14 pages its damn boring but just about do'able, but what when its 30 or 45?
Is there some logical thing to do to have them all arrive in the same part of the album. It doesn't even seem to be numerical or alphabetical by file name, just totally random? Or am I missing something....?

From what I`ve noticed Di, it puts them in order depending on how the pic is labelled, so, if you don`t name it but just use the number the camera gives it it`ll "file" it in your album in order of any numbered ones in there.
Same with titles you may give the pics, I guess really the only way to overcome it is to either give all pics sequential numbers/letters so they fall the right way or give them all titles that will run alphabetically.
Trouble is Mary (huge thank you by the way!) when you name something you can't really take in what will come AFTER it in weeks and months to come can you? Or can you? I suppose you could rename everything a1, a2, a3 etc and try and remember before you load a picture up what you are up to and continue.... be a nightmare for those in there already i suppose...
If I delete a picture from my album I suppose it disappears from any thread on the forum that it is currently on? Yes?

I used to just upload everything into the elevent section on the 'set menu' photos albums like 'chocolate labradors, bblack labradors etc and it always went in the last pictures on there which was really easy! This having to have your own one and all that is a right bore!!!

I really dislike the new albums, i'm just going to delete all my piccies because I just can't fathom using them.
Maybe just delete the old pics so you haven't got 14pages?
It will delete them from old threads yes, but i think that's happened anyway when the changes all happened
Thanks sarah, I only started using one after the changes happened and somehow have got up to 14 pages But then I don't suppose some would be missed on old threads, but they are all threads in the last, what? 4 - 5 months or so? Gulp! Addict

I think I find them eay because I have something that resizes them just fine on my computer. It takes two clicks and they are either large, medium, small or 'Handheld PC size' (thats sig pic size...) So its dead easy to make them a handy size. Otherwise I wouldn't have a clue how to!
There are only about 8 on a page or something like that so put 5 or 6 on a few threads and bingo suddenly you have a lot of pics...
