Practice
Ear and eye drops are little life skills. You might just need to muddle through this round, be firm and fast - no nonsense attitude it IS happening .
Afterwards or inbetween doses you can practice though with the dropper (lid on). Just practice getting a calm sit and rewarding the dog for letting you hold the dropper near the ear.
Gradually build up to the dropper being held in the ear.
Finally you can practice with little water droplets.
Asides not wanting a twice daily battle you need a calm dog to be able to administer the drops properly so that they are effective.
The dropper needs to be held right into the ear canal, holding the flap up to ensure the drop go as deep as possible. You then need to massage from the inner ear (alongside the eye almost) along the side of the face for a good 15-20 seconds to the outer ear before allowing a shake.
Treat it as a training session for a few weeks and *if* you need to give drops again it will be familiar and positive ......mine are envious if the other needs drops now and await their turn

Thanks Sarah, we managed this morning with just me and my son doing it! Will give your tip a try and hopefully have a calmer dog.

I agree with Sarah, eye and ear drops is something to teach. To help, warm the the drops to body temperature by carrying around in your pocket for a while before applying. Hold firm, and steady your hand by resting on the head, as in the photo below. I've also included a photo applying eye drops, again note the hand on head.
Regards John
