Only 2 weeks after losing Indy my cat, Salam, today lost his battle with congestive heart failure.
He picked me out of a crowd at the rehoming centre and decided that I would do nicely, thank you very much! For 12 years he’s tucked me into bed each night. He never did a traditional “meow” but had a very impressive range of chirps and quacks and he would appear out of nowhere as soon as you sat down to have his tummy rubbed for hours on end.
He and his brother were such wonderful, sweet, affectionate cats that even my cat-disliking mother ending up buying and wrapping Christmas gifts for them
He was diagnosed with his heart condition shortly after we lost his litter brother last year, he’s been stable since, but deteriorated after we lost Indy so I really believe that my poor boy died of a broken heart.
Run with your brother and Indy now, Salam, I miss each of you every day and the world is an empty place without you.
Was thinking of you today and hoping that you and Moss were doing okay. Was thinking I would PM you and perhaps arrange a meet up once I see how Tucker settles in.
So sorry to hear that you are now grieving for another best friend. Hope that you and Moss are looking after each other xxx
I`m so sorry to hear about Salam, its hard enough losing one but two in such a short time is extra hard, I speak from experience, my thoughts are with you.

that would be great. Today isn't really the day to say too much (Fate has such a cruel sense of timing )- but if the "test drive" which is currently underway turns out as well as it seems to be going - Moss might soon be posting an announcement in "introductions"
