I had a chat to the area co-ordinator last night about the little girl and he was very understanding. He is goiing to ask the new family to send him a photo of the dog when he is settled in his new home so that he can email this to the little girl with a message to say the dog is well and happy. Having met the child I think she would like that. She is a very unselfish little soul who knows that it isn't fair for her dog to be left alone for 7 hers a day by himself, I think she would be comforted to know that he was being well looked after and happy in his new home.

I still have a cry everytime I take one out, I had a grown man crying and clinging onto the dog and the children crying out the name! I just have to keep reminding myself that they wanted to rehome the dog and a lovely home will be found...good luck x
