Thank you for all your kind and heartfelt thoughts and love.
Life is cruel like that, to loose a dog so suddenly, well that's a killer...no chance to say goodbye, or to do special things..
Thanks Di for the special words x
I know many of you have had similar experiences, and for those that haven't I hope you never have to go through the pain
Today, 2 years ago we came back from our walk after our camping trip, we fed her at this sort of time 6pm, by 8pm she started with bloat symptoms and by 1am the following morning she was gone as quick and as suddenly as that.
I am so glad that I have people here who understand the pain of loosing a dog, so many non dog owning people just can't understand.
THANK YOU x

Totally understand your pain at the loss 2 years ago of young Tara, I can feel the hurt.
Time does seem to fly by so quickly, it would be great to slow it down and enjoy our dogs for longer.
I do also believe, the terrible pain of loss makes us better and more compassionate people.
You did your best for Tara, you can't do more than that.
Take Care.

She sounds like a beautiful girl, inside and out. Tara obviously left her biggest pawprint on your heart. Thinking of you Nat. I can't believe it's been 2 years.
Your posts have made me cry because they are written with so much feeling.
Sending HUGS Natalie I have also had the privilege of having a wolfhound when I was young he was my world when I lost him it broke my heart but it must have been so awful to of had such a short time heart breaking. I often here people say I would not have another dog as it is to heart breaking when you lose them it is but the love you have for even a short time makes all the hurt worth while I will be thinking of you Cheryl
