Where do I start?

Some would say that she was just a dog, but to me she was my heart and soul dog.

She lived her life to the fullest, she didn't know how ill she was, and this is something that she left with me, that every day should be lived as if it's your last.

We have been left with the most amazing memories which we will cherish forever, and this weekend when we go to Rendlesham we will raise a glass and speak of you with love.

My beautiful Tara Banana, who fell asleep on 13th July 2009...Miss you still every single day sweet girl, Rendlesham has very special memories for us and we will remember you with love this weekend..RIP darling xx

You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she's gone
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
Or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

She was a gorgeous girl Nat and I`m very sorry I never got to meet her, I felt as though I knew her though, following your harrowing story of her too short life.

She had a good life with you though, she was loved and that may not have been the case if you hadn`t adopted her.

I will raise an imaginary glass to Tara this weekend Smile

Oh Nat, I would love to have met Tara. You always mention her and anyone can tell how special she was and how deeply she is in your heart.

I will look forward to raising a glass for her this weekend xxx

She was Angela, she won so many hearts, she was the most gentlest of giants, someone once told me life is never the same after you give your heart to a Wolfhound.

Molly has many of the Wolfie traits as well as the Labbie obsession for balls, and I have to say she has filled a huge hole that Tara left and I am so blessed to have been able to offer a home after we lost Tara.

However, there will never be another 'Banana' Sad

I don`t think you`d want another "Banana" though Nat, not really because you`ve had the only one and she was unique to you and all who had the good fortune to meet and know her.

I think we miss all our pets but for different reason to do with their personalities, Tara was that once in a lifetime dog who was with you for far too short a time but she loved her life and you gave her everything you could. ((((((((Hugs))))))))

I think everyone who met her holds her memory dear - Fred and I talk of her walking alongside us as we went for a walk from the Brampton Show. We will raise our glasses with you at Rendlesham.
