Thought i'd update as we all love a happy ending and all so often we get the appeals and everyone rallies to help Very Happy Sadly we don't very often get to hear the outcome so........

First off his appeal thread for those who don't remember him......

http://www.labradorforums.co.uk/ftopict-86698-.html

from his post going on LF (thank you so much H ) to me texting, emailing and calling he got rescue back up ,thank you LRSE&C.
He had to spend the obligatory seven days in the pound before being transported south where he then came to me to foster Very Happy

What a wonderful pup he was a model house guest , right ray of sunshine ,such a happy pupster even after all he'd been through that week. I admit i adored instantly . He loved to help me and would bring his bowl to me after every meal so i encouraged it and taught him to bring me all the bowls. He loved it and every meal he collected all the empty bowls and delivered them to me Very Happy
Decided that he had to sleep with me one night and not in the crate and took himself over the gate and went to bed Laughing Found him curled up on then end of my bed and there he stayed without a peep until morning (bad Rie Laughing ) This happened every night so i gave in and just let him (not something i do even with my own let alone a foster ) . He just wormed his way very deeply into my heart really did. For such a young pup he was very well behaved ,someone somewhere had loved and put time and training into him . Really beggars belief how he ended up just wandering really does.

Anyway ...........thought you'd all like to know he went off to a wonderful home by the sea with a big brother for company. Is now attending obedience training classes and gundog training and is a complete star and loving it all Very Happy Most of all they adored him and he's landed right on his paws Very Happy

I get regular emails and thought i'd share the latest pics of him with you all .
SPUD now called RUEBEN..........

JUST A NOTE FROM ME AS A SPUDS FOSTER MUM .........THIS IS WHY I FOSTER AND GET ATTACHED AND CRY WHEN THEY LEAVE BUT THE PICS SPEAK VOLUMES ...........JUST LOOK HOW IT COULD HAVE ENDED AND SADLY DOES EVERY DAY , IF IT HADN'T BEEN FOR A CONCERTED TEAM EFFORT TO GET HIM TO SAFTEY.
