To the OP - I would still be wary of this breeder tbh.
I appreciate the breeder has been honest with you but potentially she's not with the other puppy buyers.
It sounds to me like she's not registering your's or DNA testing the litter and then will just KC register the rest as though nothing ever happened.
This is not right and not someone I'd want to support or do business with tbh.
Edited to add: Of course she could be selling them all unregistered which isn't deception. I'd just want to know tbh to know it's all above board.
To be honest, how many she had had, is e relevant... If I was that incompetent, to allow my bitch to be covered twice, at every mating....
Firstly - WHY is it incompetent if it is a recognised practice for specific reasons - someone may only want to take a single litter from their bitch (I am not in any way jusyifying 7 litters or even 4 - it's too many).
As for it happening 'accidentially' - it can and has happened to the best in the blink of an eye - and sometimes isn't recognised until the very last minute.
If you KNOW about an accidental mating and do something about it - the actions you take then are key - but like anyone who keeps entire dogs and bitches - particularly within a home, while I go to great lengths to keep my girls and boys apart at key times, and have done so for the last 4 years - but as for an accident - there but for the grace of god..............................
It literally can take can take letting the dogs out, maybe a friend or family doing a favour - 10/20 seconds would be more than enough for a quick slip mate and resulting litter - and go totally unwitnessed.
I do own an entire male, Sue and am perfectly aware of the 'accidents' that can/do happen.
If a bitch has been mated by two separate sires, on purpose by a breeder that knows what they are doing then that is a whole different discussion.
Hi Sarah,im not too sure what her intentions were with the yellows.I do know on her site theyre for sale at £600,and she said we could have Teddy for £400.So by selling the yellows for more that says shes kc registering them and not doing any dna tests.
But how does she know the sire of the yellows? Unless she's colour tested the "rogue" sire to know he doesn't carry yellow. Or am I missing something here?

I would walk away too.
Exactly.. I thought just the same.. She can't know!

Exactly, the higher price for the yellows suggests she intends to deceive the KC. I'd not want to support that tbh and because i'm a snitch I'd also report her
Have you paid a deposit?
I would be tempted to walk away. You'll not find it hard to find a well bred pup from a reputable breeder who health tests.
If you start a new thread stating what you're looking for and the area you live people might help point you in the right direction of some litters
