Olive has a happy ending she has today gone happily off to her new 'Forever Home' lovely couple very experienced no children one dog who Olive gets on with really well they have decided to sleep in the same bed tonight Smile think it did Olive good being with my friend as she has other dogs and the old lady of the house taught Olive her manners and they ended up best friends. Shes not far away, large house and garden near the beach. Will keep you in touch with her progress but they adore her already shes been there a few days now just knew it was the right home.

So thank you to her Family for having the courage to give her up and let her blossom in a new environment, as you can hear, she has landed on her paws.

To Lizzie for taking the time to assess her, so she ended up in the 'right' home, it's amazing how dogs react in different environments and I think we learned a lot from hearing about her progress.

Finally to Jane and Hughie for transporting her to her Foster home and then of course to all LF members who supported and encouraged all the way through.

Happy endings do happen x

What a great result for Olive, I hope her original family take comfort in the fact they did the right thing for her in letting her go, it must have been so hard for them, are they being kept up to date with her progress?

Wonderful news.
Goes to show you as well how many kind and caring people there are out there and how fab LF can be. I hope Olive's original family are not put off having a dog in the future, I'm sure Olive loved them, she just needed a quieter life. X

That is fantastic news, I was following Olive's story avidly, she's a gorgeous girl.

I'm sure her owners can take some comfort from this knowing that she is settled in her new forever home.

A true example of how LF can really pull together Smile
