Hi all
This year looks likely to be our biggest camping GT ever in Rendlesham with 30+ people and 39 dogs..WOW!
As ever, we ask you to please bear in mind the following:
1. Dogs must be kept under control at all times
We are lucky in that Rendlesham Forest Camping is EXTREMELY dog friendly and that you are sited within 2000 hectares of forest, and you are an arms length away when camped, from the off lead areas, with this in mind it is easy to forget that there are the odd NON dog owning camper (yep they do exist ) who may not appreciate a very exuberant Labrador charging into their awning/tent for breakfast/lunch/dinner .
2. The weather maybe VERY HOT or VERY WET or just perfect...
We live in the UK, so god only knows what the weather will chuck at us, we have been lucky in the last few years.
If anyone has Gazebos please bring them, they can provide Wet and Hot weather cover for dogs and humans, also if anyone has those kiddie paddling pools then that might be an idea too just in case it's scorching.
3. There are showers and loos..
Yep, all facilities, don't forget your 50p's for the showers and loo roll is provided
4. BBQ night
Bring your own cutlery and plates etc, those aren't provided although the food is, please spare a thought for your cooks (Fred and Me) we can often be seen gasping for a drink behind those BBQ's
5. For those coming on Friday night, we will be doing the usual Fish and Chip run, the order is normally put through by phone at around 6.30pm and we get them to deliver, so if you want something and are arriving late please let me know.
Finally....have fun.. the whole purpose of this weekend is to have a break, relax, meet new and old friends and have a good time, there are no arrangements for Saturday day, it's up to you what you do, although a group of us all go to Shingle street if the weather is good.
AND if you enjoy it, then we hope to see you again in 2012!

Not long to go now campers, this time next week and we'll all be there and hopefully the weather will be great, thank goodness we arn't going this weekend which is our normal one as the weather forecast is showery.
Final checklist for everyone.
Please make sure you have paid Susan for the BBQ, this also covers salads/bread and some money to Sherry towards the puds.
BRING YOUR OWN BOOZE AND FIGHTING IRONS (knives and forks) I do have a few paper plates, but try to remember your own
