This is the adorable, handsome, squidgy Tucker
He can be an excellent stalker
Or a superb pointer
He can almost fly!
Tucker first came into the care of Lizzie's Barn as a 4 month old stray from the pound. Luckily, we had a lovely home waiting and he was off there within a few days. At that time, his mum was working nights so that she could spend all day with Tucker, but her working hours changed and that meant that he was being left for full working days and, as such a young boy, Tucker needed more time than they could give him. So he finds himself looking for a new home again
Tucker is the happiest dog that I have ever had the pleasure to meet - he wags from nose to tail all day long no matter whether he is playing, sleeping or being told off for eating another rose!
He adores other dogs and is great with cats; he is wonderful with children and horses too! He loves to give cuddles and kisses, he travels well and will walk nicely if on a headcollar, but on a collar alone, at the moment, he will pull. He is fully housetrained, is happy to spend some time in a crate (especially if there are stuffed Kongs or chews on offer!) and has a fantastic recall if there are no interesting new dogs around to be greeted!
Tucker is a very bright and clever puppy living in the body of an adult dog. He needs some guidance and training to help him to become the wonderful steady companion that he has all the potential to be. Training classes would probably be both helpful and rewarding for Tucker and his handler/s.
We feel that he will be best either in a home as an only dog if his people are going to be around a lot of the time, or in a home with one other older and/or steadier dog for company and to show him the ropes. Even if he is homed with another dog, he will still need a lot of input and interaction from his people, but I guarantee that every ounce of effort that you put into this special boy will be repaid with masses of loyalty, fun and love
Tucker is in foster with me, in Bristol, so if you have any questions, please just ask and I will do my very best to answer them
All potential adopters will be home vetted and be expected to travel to Tucker's foster home in Bristol to meet/adopt him.
If you are interested in Tucker, please send your enquiries, telling us all about yourselves and the lifestyle you are offering to rehoming.lizziesbarn@googlemail.com & we will send you our rehoming questionnaire.

Such a good looking young dog, he is going to make a great companion for some lucky person. I wish we had the space, he sounds like he has so much potential
Tucker is a handsome boy, here's really hoping he gets his forever home very very soon....he definitely looks well worth the time spent getting to know him, you can see he has lots of love to give in those beautiful eyes.
I have discovered today that he reallllllllllllllllllllly likes it if you sing the American anthem with just the words "Tucky Tuck Tuck" It makes him go extra wiggly
