My lot are off to one near Doncaster, not the one you are going to.
We ran both teams side by side this week for the first time in a month or so and Coco was really naughty. When she saw another dog running in the other lane she wanted to run with it so ran out on most runs, then she wouldn't come back to me but did a couple of laps of honour with her ball.
It was one of those sessions where you feel like (but don't actually do it!) kicking the dog then sitting down and having a good cry
Having said that, she has only had about 8-10 sessions so it is still early days and everyone was assuring me that their own dogs had gone through similar phases and come out the other side. It was a big disappointment though especially as she has progressed so far so quickly up to this point.
Our team which is beginners and slower oldies was running in about 26 seconds whilst the first team (one tall, fast lab, 2 lightning collies and a fast springer) were doing just less than 20 seconds. Only the first team is competing at the moment.
