Thanks Sarah! We have one more induction day next Sunday then we're allowed to join the main group!! We're camping on the 9th and then at Rendlesham on the 16th so it will be the 23rd before we get to a normal Saturday session!
We're loving it though and it's only seeing the vid that I realised how much her tail is wagging! Is Mole still enjoying herself? Bet she's still top of the class!
Yes she is, if you can make a Sunday then they seem to be much quieter which is much better for Mole. Yesterday there were only 2 of us with 2 instructors so ended up with a 1-1!
Hopefully Sunday's will stay quiet
Awww thats fab! She looks like a natural. You're alot more co-ordinated than me . It's so much fun, we just love it! Rufus just has no fear and just goes for it. Its quite funny to watch. Going to try to get nicole to video us this week as its hard to know what you're doing (especially the bits I do wrong) until you see it back!
Hope Harry enjoys himself when you get the bits for home!! Going to buy a weave next! As you saw, we love ours!!
Vanessa,
Darcy looks as if she is doing fab, amazing after a few weeks, she is going to be a natural, and is mastering equipment really quickly. The main thing is she looks like she is loving it!
I was interested in your trainer moving the take off pole further away, was wondering why this was being used? I think it may be worth a try with Lester as he has no clue what his feet are doing and this may get him to use his co-ordination brain cell more
having a few jumps and weaves in the garden is great to get better faster, my husband made weave poles and we bought a few jumps off Ebay..could do with a floppy tunnel..Lincoln hasn't mastered that yet!
Sarah - The induction I'm doing is just me with Karen and Kerstin so we are getting some pretty intensive training!! Might try to stick with Sundays then, depends on the boys' activities. Do you ever go to the Monday evening Sport club? I might do a couple of these over the next few weeks seeing as I'm missing some weekends whilst camping x
Tina - Yes she took to it really quickly, would love to get a vid of her on the A frame as she absolutely loves that one and leaves me a mile behind! Looking forward to your next vid x
Sue - I thought that about her 'puppy dance' when I saw the video back too!
Pam - She is such a good girl and really loves her mummy (and whoever has treats)! I think I just might get the bug it's so lovely to see her thinking and learning while I try to keep up.
Roz - Thanks, she is a very easy girl to train. (Harry is a very different story, hence he stays home!)
The pipe things are there to signal to the dog the jump is coming, so they aren't really meant to take off at that point. I think this is supposed to give the dog time to prepare a really smooth jump rather than happen upon and think ooops better jump now. Well that's how I understood it anyway but we are very much beginners at all of this!
