but the pain is still as fresh as the day i lost my baby banjo who was sadly pts on june 21st 2010 - not even a year old 
i may be biased but i think she is the most gorgeous girly lab i have ever seen and i feel so privileged to have had her in my life - even knowing what i know now i still wouldn`t have given up that short time with her for the world and i hope that she felt the same too. these pics below were taken the day before she left and are how i`ll always remember her - i just wish i could remember how she smelt and felt
i said i wanted to do something extra special for her as well as for me as she made such a huge impact and i got really ill after losing her and then felt guilty for so long for trying to get better - like i was somehow neglecting her which my oh couldn`t quite understand. she already has her little memorial plaque but i decided to have this done for her:
my foot looks so deformed due to the swelling and the pic does it very little justice but now she`ll always be a permanent part of me  RIP baby jojo xxxx

My thoughts are with you Leah, love the tattoo, I thinks thats a lovely tribute to Banjo, don`t worry about not remembering what she smelt and felt like, you remember all the other things about her like the wonderful times you had together and how special she was to you ((((((Hugs)))))

Banjo was a lovely girl RIP sweetie I have tears just thinking of the pain you must have been in. Its funny I had never smelt my Luther but the past few weeks I have I think He knows I getting a new pup and just checking everything is ok Its been three years on 23rd July and like you I miss him every day Cheryl
