Scooby went to the bridge late last night, hes not a lab he was a funny bolshie little shihtzu and he was Bess's best friend.
He belonged to my mate and we often walked Bess and Scooby together, Scoobs was a yob, he wouldn't let Bess play with anyone else when they were together (hard for Mrs Friendly Bess), as far as Scoobs was concerned Bess was his
Scoobs was also loving and sweet and comical and much loved by his family, he was 12 years old. My friends two daughters, 16 and 18, both have exams this week and are in a terrible state, they are all so very upset.
So little Scooby man run free at the Bridge, find your old friend Peg, and watch over your family who miss you very much.

Just had a call from my mate, the Vet is fairly certain that Scoob had lungworm, he was so poorly he couldn't breathe last night which is why they took the brave decision to have him PTS, up until yesterday he was absolutely fine.
I'm going to take Bess to the vets to see what action we should take, as her and Scoobs went everywhere together, shared food and toys, there is a chance she has it as well.
I know it's all very painful when a much loved dog dies Tracey, even if it's not your own. But I wonder if I can ask you to post everything you can about what happened. Details of symptoms and how the illness developed etc. Personally my experience with Lungworm is rather sketchy, so this would increase my knowledge and also be valuable to others on here.
Sorry to sound a bit mercenary Tracey, but if we can help save another dog. . . . .
