I didnt see it, but *maybe* it looked like you were advertising? (just a guess). Particularly with you not appearing to not even own a labrador and you are on a labrador forum!

I thought so too - and it doesn't look like you're a member.
What's the benefit to you in posting the link here otherwise? Smile

I imagine it is because you are an American Dog Trainer who owns an alsation and is running a dog training business, including video's on youtube, to advertise your services.

I am sure they are informative video's but if you want to show them I would recommend contacting labadmin and asking about advertising on the site.

I looked at one it seemed ok. Not sure some of the things I would do with a lab.......depending on what you want to do with it i.e. use of tug toys and playing with them as a reward etc.

Well I presuming as you have a website and have put all of the effort in you must earn something from it........

I agree; I looked at one and it looked alright but there were a couple of things I wouldn't do either. Very Happy But then I find that the way dogs are trained in the US often has a few different principles to how we train them over here.

Haha just read that back - I didn't mean playing with the dog as a reward but the human tugging the other end of the tug toy as a reward! Doh!

We have many trainers here on our boards and the rules state that links to websites are not permitted.

I appreciate that your are offering free advice and they are meant to be informative, however we are always wary of people coming on and in their first post linking their websites, to me this is SPAM advertising.

Forum etiquette would be to join us, introduce yourself, get to know us and THEN add informative information. Wink

I will leave your links in this time, as you came back on to query, which means you are less likely to be a spammer, also I can find no indication of commercial gain (correct me LF peeps if I am wrong).
