Roll up to the Rendlesham BBQ - anyone who wants to join in, whether you are camping or not, is very welcome.
I am BBQ money-taking & meat-buying queen once again. The way it will work is ...... BBQ will be on saturday evening (16 July): we're aiming for a cost of £5 per head again, which will cover meat (or fish/veggie), sauces, salads, etc (I will take the full payment and organise the meat, then pass the remainder on to Nat who will do a tesco's run for everything else! - thankyou Natalie). It's a flat rate per person, both adults/children - and we've budgetted for some spare stuff for the pooches. There will be a mix of meat - chicken kebabs, pork sausages & (tbc) lamb grillsticks plus some fish, so that everyone will be able to find something they like. Bring your own liquid refreshment!
First stage completed - thanks everyone - if you want to come to the BBQ, please post in this thread giving:
pitch number (if applicable)
name
LF name (if applicable)
number of adults/children/dogs
any requests for fish or veggie option
I will summarise info in this post as I receive it - so always check here.
Second stage completed - thanks again - I will pm you all requesting paypal payments, so please keep an eye out for the next request towards the end of June (sent 30 June - last date for payments is 11 July). Anyone who is slightly tentative on numbers (Sarah & Laura spring to mind) - you can hold off sending payment till monday of Rendlesham week as I'll order the meat on the tuesday.

Oh my sister and BIL have a pitch in amongst us again Helen and Richard, 2 babes and a dog can't remember the number 64 I think
Also pitch 21 is 2 adults and a dog my friends are coming, will confirm if Katie and her OH are coming to for the night
Thought Shirley was coming too, but can't see her name on there and also Bitsa is pitch 41 I think

Hi Susan. All the info is correct for me on pitch 17. We'd love to come to the bbq. None of us are particularly fussed about fish or veggie options, we love the meat! Thanks heaps x
Info correct for us! We are all about the meat! Michael is all about the sausages and won't touch a veggie if you pay him £1000
I have a Costco card if its at all useful? There butcher meat is excellent. I'm also happy to bring down some Pork and Black Pudding sausages to die for for everyone to try as well

Thanks Vanessa for confirming, ditto Fee. You'll be pleased to hear that we've always had excess meat rather than insufficient! Dogs have always resembled barrels by the end.
Pork and black pudding sausages sound fab - can I agree a budget/volume closer to the day? I'd assume only about half of the attendees will like black pudding (though willing to be proven wrong so long as it doesn't involve me not getting to try them!)
It's just me and Mole now, (although may bring Meg, not sure yet) as Lizzie has ducked out of the whole weekend away with mother thing (secretly jumping up and down in delight at this )
I'll eat whatever you throw at me!!
Auntie Sherry is also coming for day/BBQ and has offered to do puddings so just add her in with me (so infact 2 adults and 1 dog is correct although she may bring a couple with her!) x
Thanks for the info Sarah - and yay for Sherry and puddings too
Fee - oooh lovely - thank you. Forget to say, re: costco - there is a fab butchers in my village that has very reasonable prices but good quality product - so I get the meat from there.
