This was Rolos' first dog show and in true Donkey Derby tradition the heavens opened and the rain poured down......still we had paid our £1.00 so by golly we were entering... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Not that I'm competitive of course....lol !

It was a tough field with 29 entrants and Rolo came.........first !! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy . We are so chuffed and he was more than happy with his rosette and toy prize. Still can't believe it.....

Our enthusiasm was however dampened (literally Rolling Eyes) as we then had to stand in the honking rain for over an hour as he had qualified for Best in Show.......Sadly he missed out, but he made up for it by hoovering up every last piece of dropped candy, ice-cream cornet, BBQ leftovers he could find. Still made a nice change for the usual variety of poo he snaffles up..... Embarassed Laughing Embarassed
