PLEASE look out for a male tricolour border collie that went missing in
Keighley on Monday 16th May. He is mainly black with white feet, chest and nose, brown
around his eyes. He has a black studded collar on.

He was last seen crossing the bypass almost being hit by a lorry. but crossed safely over to marley playing fields heading towards morton. He could still be in keighley or may have moved farther out.

We have only just got him so he doesn't know the area at all.

If you have any information PLEASE contact us.

His photo and contact details can be viewed at
http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=29847

edited to change link.

Have you contacted kennels local to you and given them details of Jex?, if you can find out which one the dog warden would take strays to.

My CJ went missing some years ago and I went to several dog homes/shelters including the one I knew wardens use and left my details with them, I got a phone call one day and they had had a Lab brought in for boarding, they were suspicious of the owners responses to questions so they scanned him, called me and confirmed his chip number, thats how I got him back after 4 days.

I hope Jex is found soon.

what a nightmare for you Mary Sad why do people just pick up what is obviously someone's much loved family member and keep them without a thought for the owners Evil or Very Mad maybe licencing would prevent some of this happening ? x

Sorry to hear that Jex is missing Sad will share the link on my facebook page.

Have you visited the local kennels yourself? I would definitely do so as it wouldn't be the first time a dog had been noted down with a different description etc. and only identified when someone who knew the dog, went to the kennels themselves.

Hope the poor boy is found safely very soon.

Just to add, when I click on the DogLost link in the first post, it doesn't work, I just get an error message. Not sure if it's just me, but I found the right page by doing a search on DogLost.

Wendy, they've posted on that thread so are aware of it, but good idea to check local vets too if they haven't already flower
