Dear Jack went to the bridge this afternoon. He had become increasingly frail lately and this last week saw him collapsing often as his back legs struggled to support him. Then he was unable to get up and then could not settle lying down. He's been with us since an eight week old pup and has never been in kennels, so at over thirteen, he is leaving a big hole in our lives. My Mum also died this same day a couple of years ago, which makes it all even more poignant.
Rest in peace my lovely boy, pain free.



His last visit to his favourite beach a few weeks ago:
