My first foster girl was fed on Wagg; it wouldn't be my food of choice but I have to say she looked fabulous on it.

I hav no problem with taylor on pedigree...he has a cast iron stomach however he lost alot of weight on burns and arden grange made him very runny poos even after a month of feeding it he still had runny poo. On pedigree and tinned he has good solid poos and maintained his weight, he has had wilkos own brand, pah and occasionally wagg all have been ok. We wil be trialing skinners and simpsonms bu may consider wagg aswell as an option x

never a truer word said Angela! I have cracked my brain over the years trying to work out why some dogs (even litter siblings with the same genetic make up and reared in exactly the same way) can be so masively different even from, virtually, day one!

How some can be fed utter rubbish and bounce! How some can be on the most carefully monitored sensitive stomach diet at great cost and fail miserably still.

I'm sure one day I'll crack it then sell the secret for throusands! Wink

Its so true, but Stacey, if your dog is thriving on what it is eating now and its affordable for you - seriously - don't change just because someone elses dog looks good on it. It could throw your dog for six badly, then you would regret it.

Sorry no experience of Wagg, am finding Skinners 'OK' for tough stomached dogs but not for ones with any sort of weakness.

Di

Well it wouldn't be for many dogs, but if it suits him, then for me, don't try and fix something that isn't broke incase you 'break it' Wink

Bella has always been fed on Wagg, since weaning, her breeder fed her Wagg Puppy... I just continued with it, and progressed her to the normal Wagg.

I use Bakers tinned tripe loaf and Wagg every day. She gets sardines in tomato sauce weekly, and the occaisonal egg.

She has a beautiful shiney coat, is healthy and content.

I shall continue to use Wagg!

My 3 & the Terrier are all on Wagg and do realy well on it the nine year old i change to Skinners in the shooting season but the other 2 manage to work ok i add Pilchards once a week , as every one says some dogs do well on one food that others would not cope with , the Wagg costs me £6 for 17Kg in the cash & carry but if it was wrong for my dogs i would use something else .

My sister has 5 labs all fed on Wagg they have no problems what so ever they never seem to ail with anything!! Mine is on Skinners because he was on it from the breeder and does very well on it, my previous lab was on pero labrador life no complaints about that either I once read an article which said you find a food that suits YOUR dog and stick to it.
