M abel is a yellow (Pale) Female Labrador Retriever (Age: Adult)
Missing from High Street/Needham Road, Bildeston,Suffolk. (but had just been taken there as a potential new home from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk). IP7 area, (East Anglia) on Friday, 6th May 2011
"Mabel had just arrived at her new home a few hours before and slipped her collar when she was taken out. She ran off in the direction we left in so we think she is trying to find us. We are in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Mabel is epileptic and will need her medication soon, we have searched for hours and informed all local wardens with no luck. I am terribly worried about her now and am desperate to find her. She is a large lab but slim build and very pale yellow.
There is a £100 REWARD for MABEL's safe return.

Just read an update on DogLost. Everything crossed that they manage to find her and catch her safely. Poor girl must be frightened
"Jane has had a call to say Mabel has been spotted in a nearby village. She is on her way over there right now. Have advised her how to approach Mabel. Am bumping due to sighting."
I keep refreshing the page I do so hope they find her.
I've spent hours and hours over the last week searching for a dog that's gone missing round here and it's breaking my heart that we've had no luck so far, and seeing the poor owner distraught and filled to the brink with guilt, it's absolutely devastating. I've never been on this side of the fence so to speak, it's just horrific.
they have had a few of sightings of Mabel since yesterday.this was posted on Dogslost this morning
"Good Morning, we've had two calls so far, one from a person I had heard about yesterday. She has seen the poster at school this am and rang. They saw Mabel yesterday and followed her down the road in the car, tried to catch her but she just kept going, but the lady said she looked well and cheeky!!!
We've just had another call from Hitchen post office and a lady has seen her every day since Saturday in her garden, again can't catch her. Daren's about to head over there again and take a bike, see the lady and start looking. How do people cope with this???"
